Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah
Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah is one of the six full-time Madrasahs in Singapore recognised by MUIS. It is known for its academic emphasis on its language, technology and religious subjects. The Alsagoff Arab School was founded in 1912 upon the legacy of its founder and benefactor Syed Mohamed b Ahmed Alsagoff in his last will created in 1906. It is, therefore, the oldest madrasah in Singapore and recognised as one of Singapore’s heritage schools.
